Brought to you by Thrive Revenue. We help business owners grow faster.

Hello friend,

This week, I kept repeating a message during meetings with our team, partners, and clients:

“We're going to respectfully say what we think you need to hear, not what we think you want to hear.”

Growth is a series of experiments: you develop ideas and test them.

Whatever works, double down until it stops working.

You can build a great business with one channel, one tactic. It's better to have multiple, but you don't need 100 of them.

An idea doesn't work? Review the execution to see if it simply needs to be improved.

If the ideas was wrong, move on to the next test as fast as possible.

To make this work, a respectful but brutal honesty is required.

You need to be honest with yourself and everyone around you. You need to admit when you were wrong. You need to call out sacred cows.

You're not doing any favors by pulling your punches. You’re not building the trust necessary to run more tests. You're just testing fewer things, slower.

That’s newsletter #3, hope you liked it.

Cheers,

Will Pate
